# Cod4 runs perfectly on patch 1.7 but crashes on Cod4x patch 21.1

Cod4x is crashing for me as well. It runs perfectly on patch 1.7. But when I install the latest Cod4x patch 21.1 it does not launch anymore. Crashes after the splash screen. I am on Windows 11. I installed Directx and .net.

con el permiso de ustedes, hola MAD, pero quiero comentar por tu respuesta. yo igualmente eh realizado varias preguntas pero no en el mismo hilo. pensando que por cada caso distinto al problema se tenia que hacer un nuevo tema. oh yo estoy entendiendo mal?

@geplaza el tuyo era temas diferentes, el suyo es todo sobre el bloqueo del juego, pero es menos complicado si te limitas a una publicación con elementos relacionados
