Hello everyone,
I’m setting up a dedicated home server for Call of Duty 4 and may eventually open it up publicly. I’m not using the Steam version — this is my original CD copy from 2007. Currently I’m running COD4x 21.1 for both the client and server.
I also have Bot Warfare Mod 2.3 and New Experience Mod installed. The game itself runs great, but I’m having one strange issue: the bots run around aiming at me without guns in their hands. The weapons appear to be shouldered or invisible instead of properly displayed.
My gut tells me there’s some kind of mod conflict or missing asset somewhere. I’d like the bots to visibly hold their weapons correctly so they can shoot normally.
I already made sure the proper files are in both main and main_shared. I also searched the forum and found someone with a similar issue, but the suggested fix either wasn’t very clear or didn’t work for me.
If anyone has any hints, tips, or pointers, I’d really appreciate the help. Thanks!
