Cod4x 21.1 is not working on my Steam version of Cod4

I put the cod4-client-manualinstall_21.1 folder in the Mods folder, and I ran the install.cmd file, but when I ran cod4 from Steam, I got only one server, as shown in the below screenshot.

Also, there are messages in the right-bottom corner saying:

cod4x.ovh (Call of Duty 4 X) is not affiliated with Activision Publishing

I tried to reinstall the game from Steam and reinstall the cod4x, but it didn’t fix

Any help, please?

You need to hack

iw3mp.exe

and install the patch on top of it, so you can play on cod4x servers without any problems. (search the internet for pirated iw3mp.exe and just paste where you have the steam game installed and install the patch again)

If you have the Steam v1.8 of CoD4

  • Download the original iw3mp.exe
  • Replace your steam iw3mp.exe with the one above.
  • Download the CoD4x Client Patch
  • Extract the downloaded zip archive to your CoD4 root folder.
  • Run install.cmd as admin.
  • If you have a desktop shortcut to launch CoD4, you will need to update it to this new game launcher.
