If you have the Steam v1.8 of CoD4
- Download the original iw3mp.exe
- Replace your steam iw3mp.exe with the one above.
- Download the CoD4x Client Patch
- Extract the downloaded zip archive to your CoD4 root folder.
- Run install.cmd as admin.
- If you have a desktop shortcut to launch CoD4, you will need to update it to this new game launcher.
