cod4X aint working

Hello guys,

I came to cod4 after very long time.
I tried to install step by step cod4X with your tutorial, but even though It doesnt working for me and I have no clue why.
I copy to activision folder what I should have , I run install as admin, when I start cod4.mp.exe, it shows me version 1.0.525.s
can anyone help me to solve that please? I am desperate…
I somewhere read that its because I have original CD version and not steam but seems to me a bit weird…but might be true..

There should be no such file.
Try clear the directory contents.

"%LOCALAPPDATA%"\CallofDuty4MW

Then run the installation again.

I did that mate, but still the same…no effects

I think you unpacked the cod4x installation incorrectly
It should look something like this
