Took a bit of a break recently, but I decided to try again today and I think I have some potential solutions to my issues. The drive I originally had the game installed on was NTFS format (recently switched from Windows to Linux and didn’t want to re-format my non-boot drives lol), but I finally caved in and re-formatted all of my drives to ext4 instead; I also switched to using GE-Proton-8-9 instead of any of the official steam proton versions. After doing these things my game seems to be running more stable, between 400-500 fps now. Still not perfect, but its definitely an improvement over what I had before, just wanted to share!
Yeah NTFS on linux specially for gaming is not a good idea at all.
Glad you somewhat sorted, you may try TkG proton as well, to see how it performs.
4-500 FPS is enough for codjumper, so you can play as usual.
