Install.cmd doesn't do anything

I’ve tried the steam version, I’ve downloaded a 1.7 version, nothing works.

When I run install.cmd nothing seems to happen except a very short flash of command prompt. Then I launch the game and nothing has changed. What am I doing wrong? I have tried putting the cod4-client-manualinstall_21.1 in the main install folder as well as the mods folder, nothing works.

Please help I just want to play some god damn cod 4

What is in user/username/appdata/local/callofduty4MW

Huh, it doesn’t exist right now, what is supposed to be there?

I did uninstall so maybe that’s why, should I clear it before cod4x install?
