Hello everyone!
I installed the COD4x inside the COD4 folder without any problem but every time i run the ‘iw3mp.exe’ i receive the following error:
“The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)”

Without the COD4x the executable works just fine.

Have you tried googling this error code and checking a couple of the suggestions from the search results?
There is a possibility that cod4x was installed incorrectly, or the antivirus program blocked the executable file.
Disable Malwarebytes Anti Malware or whatever it is called, that usually cause havoc.

Yes i tried search for this error but everyone website gives the same generic solutions like:
Tried update vcredist_x64 but still get the same error.

If by ‘Malwarebytes Anti Malware’ you are talking about the Kaspersky’s security software, i don’t have it.
I only use Windows Defender that i tried disabled the real time protection but didn’t solve the problem.
I saw a FAQ topic, that i forgot where it’s, that was saying about COD4x only working with Steam version or something like that.
This COD4 version was downloaded from the same website that i bought the game when the game was released, original game and multiplayer keys and etc.
Could this be the cause of the problem?
Cod4x works with 1.7 version of Cod4.
Two easiest ways to get 1.7 are:
Disk version of Cod4 (may need to install patches 1.6 and 1.7)
Steam version of Cod4 and downgrading to 1.7 (see download channel in Cod4x Discord)
