Add maps to server COD4X

Hello everyone, what is the procedure to be able to add maps to the cod4x server.
some say in usermaps
others say in the main folder
The truth is that it didn’t work for me, I think it’s something easy but I don’t know what mistake I’m making.
For example I would like to add these maps

set sv_mapRotation “gametype war map mp_chinatown gametype war map mp_ambush gametype war map mp_backlot gametype war map mp_wetwork”

use new experience, as additional information

all user maps maps go in usermaps which is off the cod4 folder

c:\cod4
c:\cod4\main
c:cod4\usermaps
etc

Them are normal maps in cod4 and are within the game not in usermap folder.

you are using the wrong names
mp_ambush is mp_convoy
mp_chinatown is mp_carentan
mp_wetwork is mp_ cargoship

Are you loading your New Experience server config in the command line and then getting this config to load your normal server config?

User maps have to go in the usermap folder in the root of your server as wkuzma has said.

New Experience is just a mod and you have a seperate config file for that and a config file for the server.
Have you combined the two into one?
What is your command line to start your server?

I merged them, put the two together. can i show you? .cfg?

Set map and gametype in maprotation within server config
and set developer “0” set sv_punkbuster “0” in server config

Don’t think cod4x uses ipv6 but I could be wrong
I don’t have +map_rotate in my command line as i have it in the server config after the set sv_mapRotation command

Yes you can send me server cfg file I will check it out

for mod maps you have to create a folder called usermaps in the root of your server and place the maps in there within their folder, not loose files. You also need a folder called mods in the root of your server and another folder within that with a name of your choice for example mymod
and put your server configs in the mods/mymod folder including the botnames.txt

In your server command line you need to add +set fs_game mods/mymod

ok your configs are all over the place, I have uploaded a set and you just need to edit to suit. I have put some of your things in the config so just check over them and edit anything i have’nt done

when you run the server_config.cfg it will auto load the server.cfg with the bots dvars also
